Renting Facilities at Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at FAU, Jupiter

Classes at Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at FAU, Jupiter are held in the Tamar and Milton Maltz auditorium, which seats 500, and in classrooms which can seat from 60 – 100 people. All of these rooms are equipped with A/V systems, enabling large-screen video projection and computer-based presentations. When these rooms are not being utilized by FAU faculty, staff and students, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at FAU, Jupiter offers remaining available space for student groups, outside organizations and others to reserve. STEPS FOR REQUESTING SPACE/ROOM RENTALS:

External Users:

  1. Complete the Facilities Use Application Form here . Print out and submit to Kimberly Bowman at kbowman4@fau.edu. After submitting the Facilities Use Application, you will be contacted to discuss your request.
  2. Complete the Facilities Utilization Agreement Form here (ONLY non-student/non-FAU groups and external persons/organizations outside the university). Print out and submit to Kimberly Bowman at kbowman4@fau.edu.
  3. Submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance . Submit to Kimberly Bowman at kbowman4@fau.edu.  The liability insurance must include the following language:  "The Florida Atlantic University Board of Trustees, the Florida Board of Governors, the State of Florida and their respective officers, agents, volunteers and employees are listed as Additional Insured under this commercial general liability policy."
  4. An invoice will be sent after the event. Full payment is expected within 30 days of receiving the invoice.


FAU Students and/or Student Organizations:

  • Complete the Facilities Use Application Form here . Print out and submit to Kimberly Bowman at kbowman4@fau.edu.  After submitting the Facilities Use Application, you will be contacted to discuss your request.


FAU Faculty/Departments/Units:

  1. Complete the Facilities Use Application Form here .  Print out and submit to Kimberly Bowman at kbowman4@fau.edu . After submitting the Facilities Use Form, you will be contacted to discuss your request.
  2. If FAU faculty/departments/units are collaborating with an external group, a Certificate of Liability Insurance may be required to be submitted by the external group. All completed space use paperwork (listed below) must be submitted at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of your planned event.
