Orientation Fees & Costs

Freshman orientation is a two-day event which includes an overnight stay in a residence hall. All students participating in Freshman Orientation are required to stay overnight. The orientation fee for freshmen is $104 plus $35 for the overnight stay and includes lunch, dinner, and breakfast.  Parents & Guests must make overnight accommodations off campus and are not permitted to stay with their student on campus. Students must submit a payment to complete the reservation. 

Guests may also attend the Parent & Family Orientation program with the student. The cost for a guest is $70 and includes lunch and dinner.

Optional Add-ons

Students may add-on membership to the Student Alumni Association. Membership costs $25, and you may pick up your membership materials at your orientation session.

Additionally, parents may add membership to the Owl Parent Association. This membership costs $70, and includes membership for parents and families during the entire time their student in enrolled at FAU.

Refund Policy

All orientation fees, including guest fees and orientation housing fees, are NON-REFUNDABLE.    Please review your orientation reservation page carefully before submitting payment.
