The Instructional Computer Lab is available to all faculty and staff wishing to teach courses or hold seminars in computer-equipped facilities.
The lab is permanently equipped with different types of multimedia equipment. For example, they all have ceiling-mounted projectors and computers, Blu-Ray players, document cameras, among other features and/or capabilities.

Overall, there is only one instructional computer lab in the Fort Lauderdale campus, featuring a total of 25 PCs. Below is a description of the facility:

Faculty members who need to request additional software in a classroom or in a computer lab should submit a request via the FAU Helpdesk at least 30 days in advance. If the software is not licensed through OIT, the department or college may be required to provide software licenses. The following is a list of software packages available in the instructional computer labs.
