Desktop Support

OIT provides various levels of support for software and hardware, including the following:

  • tests, troubleshoots and diagnoses computer problems
  • configures and installs new computer systems
  • install and upgrade software
  • migrate and backup data

The FAU Standard Desktop are the minimum specifications that should be met in order to provide the best possible support while maintaining acceptable levels of performance with our clients' computers.
