Banner Training

The fundamentals of Banner training are divided into two courses – Introduction to Banner and Intermediate Banner. Both trainings are now available as self-paced Canvas courses.

University employees whose job responsibilities require access to Banner must complete the Introduction to Banner course prior to being granted Banner access. To gain access, you must complete the Employee FERPA form.  This should have been completed during new employee orientation.  If you have not completed it yet, please access it HERE .  Additionally, you must complete the Request Access to Banner Student form. Please indicate that you are requesting New Account - Level 1 – Introduction to Banner. Once we see both submissions, we will automatically register you into the Introduction to Banner Canvas course. You will then receive an email indicating that you have been added to the course. Once you have completed the course and passed the accompanying quiz, we will grant you access to Banner Student.
