While FAU is one University at heart, our six campuses reflect South Florida’s remarkable diversity – from cultural treasures to eco pleasures:
Boca Raton: Just three miles from the beach, this is the quintessential big college experience with suite-style student housing, multiple sport stadiums and arenas, rec facilities, theatres, galleries, 300 student clubs and more. You’re also minutes from Boca’s acclaimed shopping, dining and entertainment.
Dania Beach Research Center: Tucked between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, this is where dedicated students and scientists dive into deep sea adventures.
Davie: A favorite campus for Broward and Dade county working professionals – centrally located to both downtown and suburban areas, with lots of shopping, restaurants and entertainment choices nearby.
Fort Lauderdale (downtown): Minutes from the beach and world-famous "Venice of America" Intracoastal Waterway, this campus delights those who crave urban energy and sophistication. Museums, art galleries, theatres, charming sidewalk cafes, bistros and pubs are all in easy walking distance.
Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute: This premier research facility along the Indian River Lagoon conducts breakthrough aquatic research and educates both students and visitors. Minutes away, Fort Pierce’s old Florida charm earned it USA Today’s "Most Idyllic and Historic Main Streets in America" vote. The city’s downtown waterfront combines contemporary shopping, dining, live theatre, and numerous special events.
Jupiter: This unique city features stunning eco beauty and a laid-back island vibe, with unspoiled beaches, fertile reefs, world-class sport fishing, sailing, and kayaking/SUP adventures. Nearby equestrian competitions, MLB spring training, award-winning theatre, and historical sites round out the fun.
