Fall Hot Topic Institute: When We Vote!
With the 2018 Midterm Elections only a few short weeks away, the Weppner Center for LEAD and Service-Learning encourages all students to get out the vote! The deadline for voter registration in Florida is Tuesday, October 9th. However, the next step is to commit to voting.
There are a variety of ways that you can vote in Florida: on Election Day, through Early Voting, or by Absentee. For more information, please check-out our Voter Resources page here.
This year's Fall Institute will be taking place at 11am on Friday, October 19th in NU 201 on the Boca Raton campus and will conclude at 3pm. The program will feature panelists that will be talking more about why this election is so critical, how you can get involved, and encourage you to think about how this election will impact you as an FAU student.
The first hour of the program is also being streamed to the Davie and Jupiter campuses, in SD-217 on the Davie Campus and AD 206 on the Jupiter Campus.
The registration link can be found here.
