Getting Involved

  • Become aware of the issues important to you.  The Pew Research Center  published a series of  blogs on issues  that mattered most to voters in the recent 2016 elections.
  • Become registered to vote, if you are not already. If you are, ensure that your voter registration information is up to date.
  • Encourage those around you to take action, encourage them to become registered to vote, and commit to making your voice heard on Election Day.
  • Don’t forget about the local elections, often times many social issues can start to be addressed at the local level.
  • Get connected to a local community partner in service to the community, this could be a great way to learn more about the community and social issues around you
