How is the course (projects, assignments, exams) going to change now that my classes are online?
Instructors should be in touch with you to share information about your courses and are expected to provide you regular updates, including any changes to the syllabus or curriculum. Should any issues arise, you are encouraged to contact your instructors directly via email and/or through Canvas.
What type of equipment will I need to access my courses?

You will need a device such as a desktop computer, laptop, tablet or phone, internet and a web browser to access your courses online.

Your course may also require you to have a webcam (either a separate device or one already built-in) in order to take proctored exams. Phone cannot be used for proctored exams. Your instructor will communicate to you if this is necessary.

What do I do if I don’t have the equipment necessary to participate online learning?

No computer? Go to an open lab on either Boca Raton, Davie, or Jupiter campuses. Card swipe required to access the labs.

Don’t have a webcam? Your smartphone can be used as webcam.

You can also request equipment.

How do I stay in touch with my professor?
The best way to stay in touch with most professors is through email. Check with your professor for their preferred method of communication.
Where can I get training on how to use the Canvas platform?

Additionally the Student section of the Virtual Learning page highlights the most common features you should be aware of.
