TERJE HOIM, PH.D. Named Interim Associate Dean of Wilkes Honors College

Terje Hoim, Ph.D. was recently named the interim associate dean of academic affairs of  Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College  of  Florida Atlantic University  at Jupiter. For the past three years, Dr. Hoim has served the college as chair of math and sciences. Originally from Estonia, Dr. Hoim received her Ph.D. in Pure Mathematics from Kent State University. She joined the college in 2003 and has received multiple awards for her teaching and advising as a faculty member. Timothy Steigenga, Ph.D., interim dean of Wilkes Honors College noted, “Dr. Hoim has played a critical role in the college leadership team for the past three years and has a clear understanding of the responsibilities associated with the associate dean position. I am grateful to Terje for agreeing to step into this role during an extremely busy year of celebration and transition for the college.”
