Diversity at FAU and the Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute

FAU and the Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute value diversity in our faculty and trainees. We acknowledge that attempts to increase the representation of minorities in our faculty and trainees is still a work in progress, with deliberate efforts needed to ensure that we truly represent the diversity of the communities whose opportunity, health and education we seek to sustain.

We are committed to working with our administration, faculty and trainees to achieve diversity in all its dimensions and welcome input on how we can do a better job. We will make our progress in these efforts a part of our Internal and External Advisory Council review, our Annual Report to the administration, evident in our campus-wide seminars and recruitment representation, and will work in our communities to provide insights and opportunities for scientific careers to those from underrepresented groups.
