The Patient Support Volunteer provides non-medical needs of patients in the treatment area. Volunteers will provide comfort and companionship, a listening ear, a smile, light refreshments, blanket and pillows, and assistance to the nursing staff as needed. This position is based out of an FCS clinic and shifts are based on the availability and need of the clinic. Time commitment is at least 3 hours per week, for at least 6 months.
