Like most returning student travelers, you're probably looking for ways to continue engaging with the global community both here and abroad. The following are just some of the many opportunities available to students interested in adding an international component to their FAU experience:

  1. Update your resume to reflect your experience abroad
  2. "Like" the Florida Atlantic University Education Abroad Facebook page
  3. Follow FAU Education Abroad on Instagram
  4. Participate in the global tract of the Weppner Center Certified Student Leader Program
  5. Create a photo journal, video, or write a short testimonial of your experience abroad to share with friends, family, the FAU community and beyond
  6. Volunteer with the FAU English Conversation Program 
  7. Join the FAU International Friends Program to meet incoming international students
  8. Contact the Career Center about jobs or internships available at international businesses or organizations
  9. Consider applying for study abroad scholarship and fellowship programs to go abroad again
  10. Write an article for the FAU University Press reflecting on your experience abroad
  11. Study abroad on a semester, summer, or faculty-led program
  12. Practice your language skills using online programs like Duolingo or Wespeke
  13. Check out the Library Search Wise Page and get lost in a good travel guide as you plan your next adventure
  14. Meet up in person or online for a Google Hangout, Skype, Facetime with your new friends and/or host family
  15. Ask your professor if you can give a presentation in class about your experience abroad
  16. Join a campus multicultural club/organization
  17. Go through and organize those 10,000 photos you took while abroad and enter one in Owls Abroad Photo Contest
  18. Participate in International Education Week events during November
  19. Browse government jobs abroad which may be of interest to you after graduation
  20. Participate in the Weppner Center WeLead: Diversity Matters Student Leadership Symposium
  21. Teach English abroad in Spain with NALCAP for a year
