Parent Ambassador Program

The Office of Parent/Family Programs & Student Affairs & Enrollment Management Development is looking for volunteers. We have created a program that doesn't require you to be in Boca Raton to volunteer.

We are looking for people who are willing to talk to other parents/family members about FAU at events in your region as well as in Boca Raton (if you are in the area). Event participation opportunities can be anywhere in Florida and even outside of Florida.

We have created an on-line training program so you don’t even have to be at FAU to complete it either.

In the training program, we discuss all the volunteering opportunities which includes open houses, campus days, orientations, parent and family weekends, regional admissions events, and homecoming. We also discuss your responsibility as a volunteer, which, I assure you is minimal. You can volunteer at your leisure as little or as often as you like. We don't have requirements for how much you must volunteer.

Requirements to participate are simple, you must have a student currently enrolled in FAU, complete an application, complete our on-line training program and complete a survey upon completion of the training.
