SPOT Evaluations Go Green!

As its December 6, 2013 meeting, the University Faculty Senate approved an important green initiative, the elimination of paper Student Perception of Teaching (SPOT) evaluations. In the Spring 2014, students completed their SPOT for all of their classes online. In the past, the Office of Testing and Evaluation printed over 210,000 paper SPOTs every academic year, so the shift to online evaluations will have a major environmental impact.
