"Jazz Composition for Dimitri Mendeleyev"  draws inspiration from the notion that Chemistry is a link between physics and biology and chemical reactions are the underlying impulse of our existence.

Duplicate plates have been placed throughout the Physical Sciences building.

Located in the outside walkway between Physical Sciences and the College of Science and Engineering. It is above eye level and appears to represent a Periodic Table, installed 2002.
