Food Delivery Robot
The Food Delivery Robot (FDR) is a modular self-autonomous delivery robot that is able to make three deliveries of food per trip. The three lockers inside FDR can be unlocked by the customer using a QR Code. For a customer to fetch food, the QR Code is sent to the customer's application on their mobile device and must be scanned using the QR code scanner that is found on the face of FDR. FDR uses a LiDar, two 180° cameras, a navigation module and a magnetometer module that is linked to a Neural Network which allows FDR to navigate itself to the desired locations while avoiding obstacles in its path. FDR runs on solar energy which is connected to a solar power manager module and a solar panel so that it can recharge the battery and power the microcontroller along with their connected components. Instead of using ordinary tires, FDR is equipped with a rubber track system that allows itself to navigate through a variety of weather and road conditions. Although FDR was originally intended to make food deliveries, its various capabilities will allow it to be reconfigured to be a modular delivery robot.
