Academic advisors shine for their ability to help students with everything from course planning to career exploration. But even the best advising session is compromised if a student is mentally unwell. Our webinar will empower you to become a mental health first aid ally by explaining MHFA certification and how it has strengthened our team at CSU, Long Beach; sharing mental health initiatives and strategies the University Honors Program Advising Team has implemented; and forging connections with Appreciative Advising practices.
