Cultural Competence Training

The Center for Inclusion, Diversity Educaiton and Advocacy (IDEAs) provides diversity education and traingni for the Florida Atlantic students and community. Types of trainings include Safe Zone, Social Identities and Cultural Competency. Specialized topics and trainings can be scheduled to best meet learning outcomes. 

Cultural competency is developed through recognition of diverse cultures, education and awareness the needs and identities of all members within the community, and understanding that each individual deserves respect within and beyond the campus community.

We have a variety of ways to share our information as well as specific content areas.
