Queer Coffee Hour
An opportunity for LGBTQ+ faculty, staff and students to explore and discuss topics related to identity and inclusion, as well a resoureces available to serve the LGBTQ+ community. Coffee provided at each gathering. Allies welcome
Annual Drag Show
FAU’s annual drag show exposes participants to Drag Culture and its history. Locally known artists perform drag theatrically in an environment that promotes inclusion and awareness of issues affecting the LGBTQ community. Drag performers have been involved in LGBTQ+ advocacy since the early days of the LGBTQ+ movement.
A ceremony to honor Florida Atlantic University's graduating Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Ally undergraduate and graduate students. The annual celebration ommemorates their achievements, contributions,and unique experiences at FAU.
The Mosaic Celebration
The Mosaic celebration was created to celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of students who participate in specialized academic and social support programs offered by Florida Atlantic University’s Center for Inclusion, Diversity Education, and Advocacy (IDEAs). Through resiliency and perseverance, these students have overcome difficult odds in order to persist in or complete their undergraduate or graduate degree programs
Social Justice Week
Offices in the Division of Student Affairs & Enrollment Management have come together to host an eventful week in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The week will be filled with events offering community service opportunities and experiences. Celebrating Hispanic Heritage
Florida Atlantic University will celebrate Hispanic/Latinx Heritage with a series of events for a month at its Boca Raton, Northern and Southern campuses. The events are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted.
