With a passion towards nurturing and transforming the health of communities, Elycia Morris is currently working to expand Apple Inc. Healthcare's enterprise mobility solutions across the United States. Her vision is to empower patients to better experience healthcare by leveraging mobile technology. She also serves as an advisor to various start-up companies. Prior to Apple, Trustee Morris held multiple senior-level positions with GE for 13 years to include consulting with over 200 hospitals nationwide to support operational improvements. She led GE's efforts to innovate with healthcare customers as the Director of the Innovation Lab. Trustee Morris has a BS from the United States Air Force Academy, where she was captain of the Division I women's basketball team and ran the heptathlon for the Falcon's track and field team. Trustee Morris earned her MBA from George Washington University, while serving former President of the United States, George H.W. Bush as a Mission Director on Air Force One. Her husband, J. Todd Morris is a portfolio manager at Polen Capital and her children Reid, 10 and Stella, 8 enjoy Boca’s beautiful beaches and FAU sports. The family is active in supporting veteran organizations such as the Travis Manion Foundation and various STEM education programs.
