FAU Student and Professor Record Song for Those on the Front Lines During the COVID-19 Crisis

Burks | Tuesday, Apr 28, 2020Florida Atlantic University commercial music student Sam Miller and commercial music Professor Alejandro Sanchez-Samper have produced a song and video as a tribute to those who are on the frontlines of the COVID-19 crisis. Sanchez-Samper is a professor at FAU’s Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters and assistant director of commercial music. Miller is president of Hoot Wisdom Recordings, FAU’s student-run/faculty-supervised record label, which was established in 2002 and is one of only a handful of University recording labels in the country. Hoot Wisdom Recordings produces and records all of its albums, EP’s and singles in their state of the art studios on the FAU Boca Raton campus.
