The department of Languages, Linguistics, and Comparative Literature offers instruction in Arabic, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Latin, Japanese and Spanish. Students may study all of these languages through the intermediate levels, with the opportunity to major in French, Italian, or Spanish, and minor in Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, or Spanish.
