Upcoming exhibitions include the Polk Museum of Art, Florida (2009) and the Kentler International Drawing Space, New York (2009).    She recently completed a new body of work, Innies and Outies Unification Series: An Investigation of “Wonderfully Strange Ideas” (Expressed in Domes and Quantum Foam) funded by a fellowship from the Howard Foundation through Brown University. She is represented by Bernice Steinbaum Gallery in Miami.

Yet Prusa’s horrors are all sublime, tinged with melancholy and charged with an extreme attention to detail that makes them seem, somehow, to probe the heart of life’s mysteries and illuminate the essential fact of life: that it is abundant, simple, unpredictable and very beautiful… Prusa presents a vision of the minuscule, and makes it as monumental as the life force itself; sophisticated and elemental, her images whisper their secrets and hint at meanings.
