This month marked the 10th anniversary of the Lifelong Learning Society (LLS) at the John D. MacArthur Campus. “The Year of the Student and Faculty” kicked off with the 2008 Performing Arts Week in early January. LLS in Jupiter began in 1997 with 120 students and has grown to more than 5,000 members with over 15,000 class registrations last year by offering exciting liberal arts classes and special one-time events. “Mute Utterances,” an exhibit of oil and acrylic paintings by Bradenton artist Daniel Petrov, is part of the Art in the Atrium series. The SR Atrium is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
