What would you like to accomplish in the next five years: "I would like to earn my Master's degree and begin my career as an economist in The United Nations."

Words to live by:
"Attitude is contagious make sure yours is worth catching"
"The more you give of yourself, the more you found yourself"
"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."

Advice for fellow students: "First, finding the why behind what they are truly interested in pursuing. It doesn’t have to be your major, and it doesn’t have to be your job when you graduate but please don’t waste four years of education without finding something you’d like to continue to learn about in your free time.

Second, taking advantage of the campus. It's beautiful, and you're paying for it so why not have bonfires, and why not be involved in at least one of the many clubs and organization that we have."

Herculeson Demosthenes is a Senior studying Political Science with a minor in Leadership Studies. He is originally from Haiti and decided to attend FAU because he wanted to be at a great school with an even greater atmosphere. One of the most difficult things about college for Herculeson has been harmonizing his life. In a UMI meeting on Time Management he learned to understand that his time in college is like an investment. He will need to invest his time on what will be a profit for him in the future.

Upon graduating, Herculeson plans to attend graduate school and pursue a master’s degree in International Economics Development. H would then like to take his degree and begin a career working for the United Nations as an economist.
