DEADLINE  midnight Tuesday, October 17!

Student Publication Ceremony Reception
Date: October, 2017
Location: Live Oak D

The Student Publication Ceremony showcases the different kinds of writing that FAU students published during the 2016-17 academic year (Fall 2016, Spring 2017, and Summer 2017) and the early fall of 2017 up to the October 17th deadline . It is an opportunity for students to be recognized and applauded by the university.
If you participate by submitting the information described below, you will receive The Provost's Certificate of Recognition for Publishing in 2016-2017 from FAU for your publishing accomplishments and will be invited to a reception in your honor.

For each work you have had published within this time frame, we ask you to submit some basic information:

  • your demographics
  • a description and/or abstract of the work
  • a citation for the work
  • some information about the publication venue
  • some information about the work's genre
If you have a link to your work, include that too.
You will also be offered the opportunity to archive a PDF version of your publication in the FAU Library's institutional repository.

The work that you submit can be scholarly/academic, professional, or creative.

What matters for each submission is that:

  • It is your own original work.
  • You must be an author or co-author.
  • The work must be peer-reviewed or non-peer-reviewed, but not self-published.
  • The work must have been published in the 2015-2016 academic year.
  • You must have been an FAU undergraduate or graduate student at the time the work was written. (It’s okay if the work was published after you graduated, provided that it was written while you were a student at FAU.)
