I’m A Prospective Student

  • I am considering transferring to FAU. When should I apply?

    It is recommended that you submit a complete application at least one semester before your intended start term. Once your application is complete, your file will be evaluated in a timely manner. Be sure to adhere to admissions deadlines.

  • When are campus tours offered?

    The Office of Undergraduate Admissions hosts campus tours for all prospective students year-round. See all options below:

    Boca Raton campus

    Information sessions and tours are offered year-round at both 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. Also, select Saturdays at 10 a.m., during Fall and Spring only

    For a transfer specific tour, attend a “Transfer Thursday” every Thursday at 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

      o Our Transfer Student Organization is a student-run organization with the purpose of providing a community for all transfer students. Get connected with us on our Owl Central page.

    • Volunteer as a Transfer Orientation Guide

      Participate in a great leadership opportunity and volunteer as a Transfer Orientation Guide! You can volunteer with your fellow Transfer peers and help guide new incoming transfer students through their orientation experience. In this role you have the opportunity to create a welcoming experience for all transfer students, while sharing your stories and experiences with them.     • Attend a Transfer Coffee Hour

      The Transfer Center hosts a Bi-Weekly Transfer Coffee Hour in our TSS Office. Come meet your fellow transfer peers, grab a cup of coffee, and get to know one another.

    • Attend a Transfer Workshop

      o The Transfer Center collaborates across campus to host specialized transfer-focused workshops. Come learn about various resources on-campus and get informed about the FAU community.
