There are many ways to get into a better headspace and feel relaxed, among those things is painting. As a matter of fact, painting may be one of the most relaxing activities to do. Why is painting so therapeutic? When we are painting our mind only focuses on the images at hand and nothing else. In a way, this creates a distraction for us and helps us temporarily escape from reality. Plus, painting helps us physically. The relaxation helps with muscle soreness, joint pain, headaches, and other physical ailments. Painting has been seen as an activity that takes talent and patience. However, painting is more than that. Anyone can paint, especially now since therapeutic painting has gained popularity. You don’t have to be like Picasso or Bob Ross, just paint for yourself.

Painting Fun Facts:

1.    Paint colors can affect your mood.

2.    Paint dries quickest when temperatures are 70 degrees.

3.    Paint can be recycled.

4.    In 1866, Sherwin Williams invented ready-to-use paint.

5.    There tends to be more shades of green than any other color because the human eye can distinguish more variations of green than other colors
