Alpha Psi Omega
National Theatre Honor Society

Alpha Psi Omega (APO) is a student-run theatre honor society. Our goal is to provide students with additional opportunities (outside of the Department of Theatre and Dance) to get involved in any area of theatre that intrigues them.

APO produces full-length productions, among other events, to give undergraduate students an opportunity to implement classroom teachings and real life experience in a theatrical setting. We strive to promote excellence in the dramatic arts and nourish the minds of the next generation of theatre artists.

Alpha Psi Omega productions are free, but seats should be reserved by e-mailing FAUStudioTwo@gmail.com, and stating the time and number of seats requested (due to the high number of messages we receive, it may take up to 72 hours for you to receive a response).

Our local chapter of the National Honor Society, Alpha Psi Omega, is an crucial part of our department. Entirely run by undergraduates, they produce three to five plays each semester, in addition to sponsoring Master Classes by outside theatre professionals. They are a vital influence in creating a safe atmosphere for aspiring actors and technical theatre professionals to grow in their skills. Many of our successful alumni have used their Alpha Psi Omega connections for networking in the professional theatre Community.
