FAU Test Preparation, in alliance with the Charles E. Schmidt College of Science has developed FAU's MCAT Live Classroom Course to prepare students for the successful completion of the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT). The course offers 90 hours of live classroom instruction and includes 5 full length computerized practice exams. FAU's MCAT course incorporates the MCAT's new focus on the the science of living systems and its additional focus on the socio-cultural and behavioral determinants of health. The course's unique design includes comprehensive reviews of the Biological, Physical, and Behavioral Science of living systems presented by prominent members of the College of Science faculty, while the Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills (and overall test taking strategies) are presented by FAU test preparation instructors. The Medical College Admission Test® (MCAT®) is a standardized, multiple-choice examination designed to assess the examinee's problem solving, critical thinking, writing skills, and knowledge of science concepts and principles prerequisite to the study of medicine. Scores are reported in Biological, Physical, Behavioral Sciences, and Verbal Reasoning. Almost all U.S. medical schools require applicants to submit MCAT exam scores. Many schools do not accept MCAT exam scores that are more than three years old.
You can register for any course online by clicking on the "Course Schedule" button below, and then selecting the course option that meets your schedule. FAU Test Prep accepts all major credit / debit cards
You can repeat an MCAT test preparation course to further elevate your test scores for an administrative fee of $99 within one year of the last full fee MCAT course attended. Students must attend all classes and both practice tests to be eligible for this discounted fee. If you are a returning student, and would like to repeat a course, simply call our office - 561.297.0995 for instructions.
Please notify us by phone or email at least 48 hours before the course begins if you must cancel a course. You will receive a full refund minus a $15 processing fee for each course. If less than 48 hours notice is given, you will be charged a $40 processing fee for each course. No cancellations will be accepted AFTER a course begins. If a course is cancelled by us for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
