ABOUT THE TEAS EXAM
The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS®) is a multiple-choice assessment of basic academic knowledge in reading, mathematics, science and English and language usage. The objectives assessed on the TEAS exam are those which nurse educators deemed most appropriate and relevant to measure entry level skills and abilities of nursing program applicants.

Boca Raton Campus
From I-95 take exit #45, which is also known as Glades Road.
From Florida Turnpike take exit #75, which is also known as Glades Road.
Go east, towards the ocean, on Glades Road and make a left on 1st FAU entrance (NW 10th Avenue. Once on campus turn right onto Indian river Street then turn left onto Dade Avenue. Visitor parking is on the left; located on the south end of the student support services building (also known as SU 80). If you do not have an FAU parking decal you must park in the visitor's parking lot. All visitors must pay to park at FAU. The price is $1.00 per hour or $10.00 a day, you can pay with cash or credit card. Site Address: 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton FL 33431 Building Student Support Services SU 80 suite 210. On the Davie Campus if you do not have a decal test takers can purchase a day pass for $2 from the Owl card center in SD 201. They need a cash or a check for the amount. They also need their tag number and year of the car. The center is open on Mon and Thurs 8:30-7, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30-4:30, Friday 8:30-3:30. They are closed everyday from 1-2 for lunch. Their direct phone number is 954-236-1549.

The FAU Testing Center willingly provides special test accommodations for all candidates who qualify for non-standard test administrations. Please send all documentation to FAU Testing Center no later than two weeks prior to your test date. You can fax your documentation to (561) 297-0170 or drop it off at our office in the Student Support Service Building, SU 80 Room 210.
Documentation of your accommodations
must
:
- be current- i.e., completed within the past few years for disabilities not of a permanent or unchanging nature.
- describe the specific accommodations requested
- adequately support each of the requested testing accommodation(s)
- be typed or printed on official letterhead and be signed by an evaluator qualified to make the diagnosis.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

A non-expired Government issued photo ID is required and must be presented prior to testing. Your photo ID must be a valid photo ID matching exactly the name you used when registering. NO EXCEPTIONS. All ID's must include a current photograph, examinee's signature and a permanent address

- You must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your testing time. Please be prompt. No late arrivals will be admitted.
- Bring your email receipt sent to you by Prepblast and your username/password created with ATI Testing.

COSTS - Test Administration Fee: $28, and an Exam Fee: $35.
- The exam fee is due on the day of your scheduled exam. The fee is payable by CREDIT CARD ONLY. **NO CASH, NO CHECKS, NO MONEY ORDERS**

The administrative fee is $28. All fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and test date may not be rescheduled.
The second payment will be paid at the test center on test day by credit card ONLY.
For the FAU Nursing Program, the TEAS test can be taken once per semester, summer and fall. There must be 30 days between test attempts. The caution is that only the most recent test score will apply to the admission decision, not the highest test score. So, if you have a high score and repeat the test getting a lower score on the second test, it is the second score that would apply to the admission decision.
Once this fee is paid, you will receive a confirmation email from PREPBLAST confirming your chosen appointment time and date.
The second payment will be paid at the test center on test day by credit card ONLY.
YOU MUST CREATE A USERNAME AND PASSWORD THROUGH ATI TESTING PRIOR TO YOUR TEST DATE - This is in addition to the user name/password previously created to schedule your appointment with PrepBlast. The ATI user name/password will be used at the testing center to launch your exam. Please follow the instructions at the bottom of this page to create your user name/password.
