Established in 2000, MIT VMS has assisted more than 1,450 startup ventures who have raised more than $1.4 billion in funding. Through the team mentorship model, FAU Tech Runway aims to replicate similar success in South Florida. Tech Runway mentors represent the best of the best in South Florida. From world class serial entrepreneurs to innovative engineers, our mentors are recruited not only for their expertise, but also their dedication to the success of our community's entrepreneurial eco-system.

Mentors help provide perspective and industry specific awareness

Becoming a FAU Tech Runway mentor is a function of our startups' needs. Your application will be placed on file and reviewed with the inauguration of each new class of startups. If we feel you can help, we will ask that you meet with us and several mentors to better understand your interest and ability. If selected, you will be asked to undergo a background screening and attend a mentor orientation session.
