Student conduct holds are placed when students have overdue conduct sanction(s).Students are made aware of the due dates of all sanctions through the outcome letter which is sent after the resolution of a conduct case. Students are also given an auto-reminder two weeks prior to the date their sanctions are due. One week prior to holds being placed a hold notice letter is sent to the student through email.
Holds prohibit a student from doing all business at FAU such as registration, graduation, and add/drop. A hold will not be temporarily lifted in order for a student to register for classes.When a student conduct hold is placed on a student’s account it will not be removed until the student has completed their outstanding sanctions.
