The Veterans’ Affairs office of FAU
is designed to act as a liaison between the
student and Veterans Administration.
Every admissions counselor is trained to
assist veterans in the application process for
admissions at FAU. Whether you are entering as
a freshman or transferring in with some
credits, we are here to help.
The Department of Housing and
Residential Life at FAU is proud to offer
top-notch student housing for our students who
are transitioning from the armed services to
Student Health Services is ready to
provide health care for our veterans returning
from the armed services.
FAU’s Career Development
Center offers a comprehensive range of
services to enrolled, degree-seeking
undergraduate and graduate Veterans.
FAU’s Counseling Center
supports students' mental health needs
that are specific to veterans as they
make the transition into student life.
The Office of Students with
Disabilities works with students who have
varied disabilities including medical
disabilities, physical disabilities,
psychiatric disabilities (including PTSD),
learning disabilities, visual impairments,
traumatic brain injuries, and/or are
FAU's Today and Beyond Wellness office
understands that promoting and maintaining a
healthy body and mind is vital for those who
have served or are currently serving in the
Atlantic University supports our troops
through the Florida Board of Governors'
special initiative "Boots to Books" —
an effort to transition veterans from active
