Queen Aisha Abdul-Akbar

Queen came to FAU from FAU High School where she dual enrolled and in her 11th grade year was accepted into the College of Nursing. She stayed at FAU because she wanted to finish her degree with the caring professors she connected with and the classmates she grew fond of.

While continuing her education at FAU, Queen got involved in the Student Nurses Association. Queens instructor Dr. Rhonda Goodman suggested she do so. She joined and became a Chair and since then Queen has now become the President of this organization.

Upon completing her undergraduate studies, Queen plans start her journey as “Nurse Queen”. While working as a nurse she will enroll in the BSN to DPN, Doctoral program here at FAU in the College of Nursing, once again.
