Jeron Bornstein moved to Florida from Boston, Massachusetts. He attended elementary, middle and high school here in Boca Raton. Before attending FAU he attended Palm Beach State College. Without question he knew FAU was to be his next journey.
While at FAU, Jeron has gotten involved with the Weppner Center for LEAD and Service Learning as an Elite Owl. A leadership program designed to recognize exemplary student leaders at FAU. Director of New Business Development for the Owls Racing Formula SAE Team, Department of Ocean and Mechanical Engineering Machine Shop. Jeron says, “I have been building and designing since birth.” He was previously an automotive mechanic and now designs, builds, race and compete with Owls Racing.
Jeron overcomes his difficulties by, “keeping his thoughts in check” He doesn’t let negativity creep into his mind. In the next five years, Jeron hopes to have finished working on an invention/ prototype and be on to his next life adventure.
