The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi promotes excellence in higher education and recognizes outstanding achievement by students, faculty, and alumni. Founded in 1897, Phi Kappa Phi is the only major scholastic honorary society which recognizes academic excellence in all disciplines. Over 275 chapters of the Society exist at colleges and universities throughout the world.
Chartered in 1971, the Florida Atlantic University Chapter (Chapter 128) serves students, faculty, and staff through election to membership, presentation of awards for outstanding achievement, nomination for regional and national fellowships and awards, and award of Chapter-funded scholarships.
