Vice President's Welcome

Welcome back for the 2007/2008 academic year.  For our new students, welcome to the Florida Atlantic University Community.  As the new Vice President for Student Affairs, I look forward to meeting and working with you.  This is an exciting period for our University and I am extremely honored and pleased to lead Student Affairs during this time.  In this role, I am committed to promoting a campus ambience that embraces academic excellence, promotes social and personal development and teaches the importance of civility and civic responsibility.

Student Affairs compliments the academic mission by offering program activities and services that encourage students to critically explore today’s global society through in-depth engagement with faculty, staff and students who come from different socioeconomic, ethnic, racial, international, gender and/or religious backgrounds.  The diversity of our campus community combined with our excellent academic programs make FAU a dynamic and vibrant academic institution.
