While Student Health Services offers comprehensive health care  to the students, there may be some instances where a service may be needed or requested that we cannot provide. In these instances referrals will be made. Some of the services not offered by Jupiter Student Health Services are:

Allergy Injections/ Immunotherapy

X-rays, MRIs or other sophisticated diagnostic testing

Specialty Physician Care (i.e. surgery, cardiology, orthopedics)

Please Note:

Costs of all services provided outside of Student Health Services are the student’s responsibility and are NOT covered by the health fee.

Student Health Services does not write notes excusing students from missed class(es). We do, however, offer two options:

  1. A receipt of your charges can be printed to provide documentation of your visit.
  2. An Authorization for Release of Medical Records can be completed for the class(es) missed, so your professor(s) can call the clinic to speak with the Nurse Practitioner to confirm your appointment and/or diagnosis.

You may request one of options above from the Student Health Services front desk.
