Jupiter Campus Student Orientation Information
Orientation is a structured interactive program that provides new incoming students with the tools, information, and resources necessary for academic success at FAU. Major university policies and procedures as well as support services are presented by staff and faculty with a goal for you to truly understand the resources available for your success. As a part of orientation, students have an opportunity to meet with an academic advisor to discuss coursework and an academic plan.
Honors College Orientation: August 12, 2014 - August 16, 2014
The Honors College Student Orientation prepares you for a successful start to your academic career at Florida Atlantic University. By attending the Honors College Orientation program you will learn about the unique requirements and services that are available to you. We will encourage you and invite you to meet with other new students as well as to learn from current students, faculty, and administrators. Orientation will provide you with information regarding what the Honors College community life is all about and what you will need to do to succeed! Orientation is your opportunity to develop lasting relationships, acclimate to the HC campus, and experience lifelong memories.
Social and informative college activities are scheduled and are an exciting part of orientation activities to help ease your transition into college life at FAU’s Jupiter Campus. There are fees for both the student and their parents/guests for the fall orientation.
How do I sign up?
Orientation reservations must be made through your MyFAU account. https://myfau.fau.edu/cp/home/displaylogin
Transfer students are required to attend a one-day orientation session designed to assist you in your transition to FAU. The orientation segment of the program runs for approximately one hour and group advising directly follows orientation. Transfer students with 1-29 credits must attend freshman orientation. Please check your Admissions letter to find out more about your admit status. We look forward to seeing you!
