Meet the Staff
Jana Scrivani, Psy.D., Assistant Director
Dr. Jana Scrivani earned her BA in psychology from Douglass College at Rutgers University in New Jersey. She went on to earn her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers. She completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral training at Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital, in San Diego California. Dr. Scrivani works with students on a wide variety of clinical concerns, and specializes in the treatment of anxiety and related disorders, autistic spectrum disorder and non-suicidal self injurious behaviors. Dr. Scrivani operates primarily from a cognitive behavioral perspective, and is also informed by dialectical behavior therapy and mindfulness based interventions.
When she’s not at work, Dr. Scrivani enjoys spending time with her family, reading, hot yoga, searching for authentic New York pizza, and spending time with her cats, Winston and Alastor.
Adam Iglesias, Psychologist
Dr. Iglesias received his B.A. in Psychology from FAU Honors College, obtained his Master’s in Experimental Psychology from FAU, and then received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a licensed Psychologist that works part-time at the Counseling Center, part-time in private practice, and also is an adjunct instructor at FAU.
