Quick Facts about OPT:

* The process is currently taking approximately 3-4 months
* You can apply no earlier than 120 days before graduation
* You cannot apply after graduation
* You must be in status for at least one full academic year
   to be eligible to apply for OPT

April 2nd, 2008 is the deadline for submitting documents to the ISSS office.

OPT allows you to work in the US in your field of study for a maximum of 12 months after graduation
