Alumni Services

All alumni who have completed their degree at Florida Atlantic University are eligible to use the services of the Career Development Center.

During the first six months after graduation there is no fee to use any of the services listed below. Six months or more after graduation we will continue to provide services for an annual fee of $65.00.

Services available for alumni who register with the Career Development Center:
  1. Job / Internship Postings (Interfase)
    The CDC receives over 2000 job postings annually. Registered alumni may view jobs and apply online.
  2. Resume Referrals (Interfase)
    Upload your resume into the Interfase database. Have your resume referred to employers who request your degree, major, etc.
  3. On-Campus Interviews (Interfase)
    Alumni (up to 1 year post graduation) are eligible to participate in the On-Campus Recruiting Program with employers who request alumni. Alumni must meet the employer's specifications (i.e. major, degree level, graduation date.)
  4. OptimalResume™
    Use our resume creation tool to design high impact resumes and store them online.
  5. Career Advising
    Includes resume critiques and practice interviews (limited to 3 sessions)
  6. Career Day Job Fairs (Spring and Fall Semester)
  7. Professional / Graduate School Fair (Fall Semester)
  8. CDC Events
    Registered alumni are welcome to attend our employer information sessions, workshops, etiquette dining events and panels.
  9. Email updates and announcements
  10. Career Library/Computer Lab
Important:
In order to receive alumni services, email your payment confirmation to erinaldy@fau.edu. You may now register in the Interfase database (Job/Internship Postings) and will receive a passcode to access Optimal Resume via email.




Additional Services:

Career Assessment Inventories are also available for a one time fee of $50 per assessment. This includes one individual counseling session for a personal interpretation.
  • Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
  • Strong Interest Inventory (SII)
Important:
After you have paid the assessment fee, contact the Career Development Center at (561) 297-3533 to receive the username and password and to schedule an appointment with a career advisor. Please bring a copy of your email confirmation.
