Frédérique Fragé is currently the Associate Director of the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership at Florida Atlantic University’s (FAU) Broward Campuses. Ms. Fragé received a Bachelor’s Degree in History at the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration/Student Affairs from Florida Atlantic University. Ms. Fragé has worked in the field of Student Affairs since 2006. Prior to her current position she served in the FAU Offices of Multicultural Affairs and International Students and Scholar Services as the Designated School Official (DSO). In addition to her duties with the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership, she is the primary liaison to the Broward Campuses for the Weppner Center for Civic Engagement and Service, and supervises the coordination of activities and programs for the students of the FAU Broward Campuses. Valerie Joseph is currently the Senior Secretary of the Broward Office of Student Involvement and Leadership. She has worked in the Division of Student Affairs for approximately eight years. Valerie received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and is working on her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Karen Esteves is currently the Assistant Director of Student Affairs for the Fort Lauderdale and Dania Beach campuses. Her responsibilities include Owl card student identification service, management of the Second Avenue Studio student gallery, coordination of orientation and advisement of clubs and organizations on the Fort Lauderdale campus.  Karen Esteves earned her bachelors degree and masters of fine arts degree from Florida Atlantic University.

Before coming to Student Affairs in 2000, Karen spent a combined 5 years as an academic advisor in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts & Letters and graduate recruiter and advisor for the former College of Liberal Arts. She is a member of National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). She completed the NASPA Mid-Managers Institute in 2007 and, most recently, the FAU Student Affairs Institute in Spring 2009.

Karen is a proud FAU alumna and an active member of the FAU National Alumni Association since 2003.
