Frédérique Fragé is currently the Associate Director of the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership at Florida Atlantic University’s (FAU) Broward Campuses. Ms. Fragé received a Bachelor’s Degree in History at the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration/Student Affairs from Florida Atlantic University. Ms. Fragé has worked in the field of Student Affairs since 2006. Prior to her current position she served in the FAU Offices of Multicultural Affairs and International Students and Scholar Services as the Designated School Official (DSO). In addition to her duties with the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership, she is the primary liaison to the Broward Campuses for the Weppner Center for Civic Engagement and Service, and supervises the coordination of activities and programs for the students of the FAU Broward Campuses. Karen Esteves,  Associate Director of Student Involvement & Leadership on the Fort Lauderdale campus. Her responsibilities include: 

·      Student Involvement & Leadership for Fort Lauderdale

·      All Broward Orientations – For both undergraduate and graduate students on the Fort Lauderdale & Davie campuses

·      Manager of Second Avenue Studio. SAS is a student gallery for the campus of the “creative industries” in FAU Fort Lauderdale. 

Before coming to Student Affairs in 2000, Karen spent 4 years combined as an academic advisor in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts & Letters and graduate recruiter and advisor for the former College of Liberal Arts. She is a member of National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). She completed the NASPA Mid-Managers Institute in 2007 and, most recently, the FAU Student Affairs Institute in Spring 2009. Representing the FAU Fort Lauderdale campus, Karen is on the executive board of the “Friends of the Library,” Broward County Library.

Karen Esteves is a two time FAU alumnae, having earned her Masters degree in 2003. She has been an active member of the FAUNational Alumni Association since 2003. Recently she accepted the chair position of the Broward Seaside Burrow, an affiliate of the FAUNAA. The Broward Seaside Burrow has successfully fundraised for scholarships, awarding over 197 to FAU Broward students since 2006.
