The
Broward Office of Multicultural Affairs provides support
services and learning resources that will enable Broward
students to achieve their educational goals and celebrate
multiculturalism within the FAU Broward Community. Services
provided to students include:

Free
tutoring in computation, communication, computer skills,
group peer test preparation for the CLAST Exam and the
General Knowledge section of the Florida Teacher
Certificate Exams.

Free
Book Loans for students who demonstrate financial
need.

Registration/Hold
Removal Assistance.

Academic
Progress Review.
-
Cultural
Awareness and Education Programs.

Transfer
and International Student Orientation.
In
addition the Broward Office of Multicultural Affairs is the
Broward home for the Center for Civic Engagement and
Service. Services provided to students include:

Developing
partnerships between the university and community and
providing service opportunities to faculty, staff and
students.

Offering
students the opportunity to record their volunteer hours
to be posted on their transcript using the Volunteer
& Service-Learning Log.

Planning,
organizing and sponsoring events both on and off-campus
every semester.

Advising
the Broward Student Government Program S.A.V.I. (Students
Advocating Volunteer Involvement) and supporting service
projects led by and for students.
