Karen Esteves
is currently the Associate Director of Student Affairs for New Student and Owl Family Programs and supervises student activities for the Fort Lauderdale campus. Her responsibilities include coordination of all Broward orientations, adviser of Downtown clubs and organizations. Karen Esteves earned her bachelors degree and masters degree from Florida Atlantic University.
Before coming to Student Affairs in 2000, Karen spent a combined 5 years as an academic advisor in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts & Letters and graduate recruiter and advisor for the former College of Liberal Arts. She is a member of National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). She completed the NASPA Mid-Managers Institute in 2007 and, most recently, the FAU Student Affairs Institute in Spring 2009.
Karen is a proud FAU alumna and an active member of the FAU National Alumni Association since 2003.
