Psychological counseling services are provided, at no charge, to the students attending the Broward campuses. The professionally trained staff seeks to assist students with a wide range of personal concerns and problems. Students receive help dealing with issues such as test anxiety, stress, procrastination, poor assertiveness, and low self-esteem, as well as more serious issues including depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, drug and alcohol abuse, childhood sexual abuse, and sexual assault.
Couples and family counseling are also available at no charge as long as an enrolled FAU student is an active participant in the sessions. Group counseling and psychological testing services are also provided when appropriate.

Appointments (Monday through Friday, 9 to 5, with some evening hours also available) may be made in person at the Center or by calling 954/236-1216.
