Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management

We create diverse, challenging and transformative environments through our innovative and effective programs, services, and outcomes-based approach to student learning and development. We equip students with necessary tools to achieve academic, personal, and career success.

Israel Fontoura

School of Communication & Multimedia Studies

Israel Fontoura came to FAU as a transfer student in 2018 and is graduating this summer with a B.A. in Mutimedia Journalism. During his time at FAU, he's been the managing editor of the University Press and also traveled to Israel and Palestine as a Student Leader Delegate with Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach County.

Jeff Metra

Jeff is a senior accounting student from Delray Beach, FL. A couple of years ago, before attending FAU, Jeff was not sure if he wanted to pursue a career or not. But after working closely with his old boss, who is a successful owner of a private equity firm, he decided to enroll in school and pursue a major in accounting.

Santana Roberson

Hospitality & Tourism Management

Santana Roberson is from Miami, Florida. During a college fair at her high school, she had a conversation with a representative from FAU whom not only spoke of the diversity and greatness at FAU but was also able to show her all that we had to offer. “During my initial visit/tour of Florida Atlantic University, the feng shui of the campus was warm and welcoming and I instantly felt to be right where I belonged.”

Ayanna Jarido

Design and Social Inquiry

Ayanna is a Kelly/Strul Emerging Scholar and First-Generation student. The Kelly/Strul Emerging Scholars Program provides first-generation, low-income students with financial resources and personal support to help them graduate from FAU in four years or less. Ayanna chose to attend FAU because we are one of the most diverse schools in Florida.

Timoy Graham

College of Education

Timoy Graham is an international student from Montego Bay, Jamaica. When he started his undergraduate degree he had just transferred from Broward College. Timoy chose FAU because of the diversity and strength in culture among its students and wide range of opportunities for student success and engagement.

Gabrielle Gibson

Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters

Gabrielle chose FAU in hopes that she would be challenged in the best ways possible. She says, “I loved the small and intimate class sizes as well as the countless opportunities to get involved on campus.”
