The future facilities needs for each campus will be projected, identified and met based on the strategic goals.

3-2. Apply the following guidelines in space- planning strategies:

a. Equity – Ensure that space is allocated, renovated and built in an equitable manner across campuses.

b. Consistency – Use consistent practices in allocating, renovating and building space.

c. Efficiency – Utilize current space efficiently and anticipate future needs realistically.

d. Flexibility – Plan flexibly in order to meet current needs, anticipate future needs and accommodate space modifications.

3-3. Plan projects of sufficient size to promote cost efficiency and effective land management.

3.4. Ensure that the University’s annual Capital Improvement Plan and Capital Campaign support and promote the University’s Strategic Plan.

The Capital Improvement Plan will be reviewed annually to make sure it dovetails with the University’s Strategic Plan.
